Formed out of Westland, MI lead singer and guitarist Dan Reott, guitarist and vocalist Tim Stolkey, guitarist Ivan Graham, bassist Nate Ennis and drummer Pat Stolkey come together to create a unique blend of melodic rock & pop music which they simply refer to as the sound of Sway. Performing together since early 2003 the band has made their way around Metro Detroit and has already become a household name in the Ann Arbor area. The debut album 'Still...', released in July 2005, is loaded with songs that appeal to a wide variety of listeners. Tracks vary from rock: 'Sweetheart' and 'Recourse', to acoustic: 'Lady Yeah' and Rockstar', to pop: 'Loop' and 'Not The Best Feeling'. 'Still...' includes something for every one of their fans and the many more that are sure to come. A vast array of influences ranging from Matchbox Twenty to Nirvana, and a focus on making music that emphasizes the vocals and lyrics makes it easy to see why Sway has created such a devout following in such a short time. Once you hear the music and listen to the lyrics it's hard to not get hooked by their sound.
