Limited Deluxe Edition 'Black Box' double CD features live and unreleased tracks including 'Clayden' & 'Malignant' that were recorded during the 2005 Chimaira Sessions, plus 7 live tracks recorded in 2003 on the European Roadrage tour 'Power Trip', 'Cleansation', 'Severed', 'Eyes Of A Criminal', 'Down Again', 'The Dehumanizing Process' & 'Pure Hatred'. Chimaira refuse to write songs that fit any stylistic format other than that of 'Heavy Metal'. This self titled album follows their most successful one to date The Impossibility Of Reason that was recorded in the Spider Studios in Ohio with producer Ben Schigel, who has described the new material as having ''more of an epic kind of vibe. The songs are a lot longer, but we found a way to make them long without being boring. Now that it's coming together, it sounds way more brutal''.
