New York City, the five boroughs, the big apple, home to over ten million people. From the Battery in Lower Manhattan, to the beach in Coney Island, New York City is both an urban jungle and an urban paradise. People come from all corners of the country, and all corners of the globe, to live in America's most diverse city. The awe inspiring New York City skyline is imposing by day, and lights up the night. The Chrysler Building, the Empire State Building, and the World Trade Center tower over Midtown and Lower Manhattan. One of Brooklyn's tallest buildings is the Williamsburg Bank Building, visible from across the East River in Manhattan's Lower East Side, the building is a symbol of the Brooklynite metropolis of the past. It's a short drive through heavy traffic on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (referred to by locals as the BQE) to Queens' Flushing Meadows Park.
