Symmetries of Differential Equations: Topics in Nonlocal Symmetries of Dynamical Systems

Dr. Festus I. Arunaye was born in Egbo-Kokori in Ethiope East of Delta State of Nigeria for about 47 years ago. He obtained both primary and Secondary Schools Certificates in Ethiope East, and in 1989 baged a B. Sc degree in Industrial Mathematics with Second class hounors Upper division from the University of Benin, Nigeria. In 1996 he obtaind an M. Sc degree in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria specializing in Numerical Analysis. He further went to the University of the West Indies, Mona; Jamaica in 2005 where he obtained his Ph. D degree in Mathematics in 2009 specializing in Symmetry of Differential Equations. After his B. Sc degree, Dr. Arunaye has been a Lecturer while studying for higher degrees. He has alot of article publications in highly refereed international and local Journals. He is a Senior Lecturer with the Delta State University, Abraka; Nigeria. He has a good teaching experiences at the University level of over twenty years. He has taught and supervised Bachelors and Masters degree graduates over the years. Some of his students are now Ph. D degree holders. He has presented several results of his research in several international confrences.
