Intranet Network Control

This book pulls together 4 key Air Force publications on the Air Force Intranet Network Control (AFINC).
AFI 17-2AFINC, VOL. 1 AIR FORCE INTRANET NETWORK CONTROL (AFINC) TRAINING 23 May 2017
AFI 17-2AFINC, VOL. 2 AIR FORCE INTRANET NETWORK CONTROL (AFINC) STANDARDIZATION AND EVALUATION PROGRAM 23 May 2017
AFI 17-2AFINC, VOL. 3 AIR FORCE INTRANET NETWORK CONTROL (AFINC) OPERATIONS AND PROCEDURES 23 May 2017
AFI33-115 AIR FORCE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SERVICE MANAGEMENT 16 Sep 2014 AFI 17-2AFINC prescribes basic policy and guidance for training United States Air Force Intranet Network Control (AFINC) crewmembers. Mission readiness and effective employment are achieved through the development and mastery of core competencies for AFINC crewmembers. It provides cyberspace operations examiners and cybercrew members with procedures and evaluation criteria used during performance evaluations on the Air Force Intranet Control weapon system. This AFI provides specific information and grading criteria for each crew position, special mission qualification (SMQ), instructor upgrade qualification, and Stan/Eval examiner objectivity evaluations. All evaluations fall under the Qualification (QUAL), Mission (MSN) or Spot (SPOT) categories. It prescribes procedures for operating the AFINC weapon system by providing mission planning guidelines, standard operating procedures, minimum forces, terrain, communication plan, vulnerability/operating window, deconfliction plan, abort criteria and contingency plan and weapon system health/status. If your organization is not using this information as a general guide for developing your own tactics and procedures, then you are at a severe disadvantage. Air Force has been doing this for a while and they provide defensive and operational guidance that can be followed universally to protect critical computer networks. Why buy a book you can download for free? We print this book so you don't have to. First you gotta find a good clean (legible) copy and make sure it's the latest version (not always easy). Some documents found on the web are missing some pages or the image quality is so poor, they are difficult to read. We look over each document carefully and replace poor quality images by going back to the original source document. We proof each document to make sure it's all there - including all changes. If you find a good copy, you could print it using a network printer you share with 100 other people (typically its either out of paper or toner). If it's just a 10-page document, no problem, but if it's 250-pages, you will need to punch 3 holes in all those pages and put it in a 3-ring binder. Takes at least an hour. It's much more cost-effective to just order the latest version from Amazon.com This book is published by 4th Watch Publishing Co. and includes copyright material. We publish compact, tightly-bound, full-size books (8 1/2 by 11 inches), with large text and glossy covers. 4th Watch Publishing Co. is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). If you like the service we provide, please leave positive review on Amazon.com.
