Henry Goes to School

Henry is off to school. Will he have to wear a uniform? Will he get to ride the school bus? Going to school is another adventure in Henry's farm life along with the marking of the lambs (ouch!) and the shearing of the sheep. Allan Matheson's formative years were spent on his parents' farm in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. After school, he became a teacher, and his love of children's literature led to the writing of the 'Henry' series of stories about farm life, seen through the eyes of the piglet Allan's father bought to fatten into a porker. This is the third book in the 'Henry' series. The books are all fun to read and educational, and children will learn about farm life as they experience Henry's story.
