The Holiday

Gugu and Pule have just married and will be heading to Clarens for their honeymoon. As they prepare to leave, Pule is summoned to the hospital where his mum has just been admitted. Pule's mom divulges an absurd secret before relating a dream about a serial killer in Clarens.

En route to Clarens, the couple suffer a tyre puncture along a dark secluded road with no network coverage. Pule goes to seek help leaving Gugu behind. An unkempt man in bloodstained clothes suddenly emerges from the woods and heads for the car. Could this be the serial killer? Pule has been gone for ages, is he still alright? Gugu screams and luckily Pule returns and bashes the man unconscious with the spanner.

The couple arrive at their destination; Oom Jannie's Guesthouse. When Jannie notices bloodstains on Pule's clothing, he immediately informs the sheriff. The strange sheriff has no evidence against the couple but is determined to capture them. In the one corner there's the young couple and in the other corner is the sheriff and whistleblowing Jannie; who will win as residents of Clarens continue vanishing without trace?
