They hope to hide out, regroup, and plan their next move before the powers that be get too close. Everything is fine until they stumble upon an old murder mystery. While out fishing Helen ends up saving a woman who has fallen off her boat into the water.
She is an attractive, interesting woman named Marcy, who happens to be investigating the death of a nurse who died under mysterious circumstances earlier that year. She offers Helen a job as a researcher.
