Zoey Miller was a throwaway child. No one wanted her. She was being passed around from one foster home to the next. She'd run away so many times that her social worker had her placed mental hospital for testing. At the hospital, she meets an older girl named Debra Stone. Debra will teach Zoey the true meaning of the word family. As a teenage girl, Debra idolized the actor H. W. Edwards.
