If someone told small-town writer Eve Richardson a few short months ago that she'd be heading off to "jolly olde England" to travel with an eccentric new age woman (born in a nudist colony on a remote tropical island) to search for inspired messages carved in the wheat fields by enlightened aliens from another universe, she would have declared them insane!
