Who Stole the Dead Guy?

Cash Register, elite private investigator from the St. Louis area, has an uncanny way of attracting the oddest cases. In "Who Stole The Dead Guy," Cash is retained by, Amanda, the widow of Jonathan Stone. Jonathan's body and casket disappeared from the funeral home the night prior to his scheduled viewing with no evidence of a break-in. Kind of weird! After six weeks of little progress on the case by the police department, Amanda hires Cash to find out who stole her late husband's body and why. And it's still unknown why he was killed in the first place. It's a miracle Cash gets any of his cases solved with the cast of nitwits surrounded him. His mother, Dot, is convinced beyond all doubt she's Annie Oakley reincarnated. Rather than having the expertise Annie had with a rifle, Dot is to be feared with a lasso. Cash's sexy receptionist, Bridgette, is pretty much clueless. Although her elevator hardly ever makes it to the penthouse, some of the stops along the way can be very interesting! And her boyfriend is internationally famous punk rocker megastar Rusty Nutz ... the guy with the green and yellow hair. Dot's boyfriend is a four-foot ten-inch mystic who thinks he can cast spells and runs around in silky pajama-looking clothes with stars plastered all over them. He could easily be mistaken for the midget love child of Ernest Borgnine and Danny Devito. And Dot has decided to run for a seat on the county council. That has Cash worried after the ill-fated fiasco of her run for County Sheriff several months back. There's never a dull moment in Cash's journey through life. Looking for a missing cadaver and a casket only add to the intrigue. Yet, Cash somehow manages to get the job done. God only knows how.
