Little Red Riding Hood

Little Red re-tells the narrative of an age-old fable, whose subtle message speaks of sexual violence and assault. Instead, this version of Little Red is a story about empowerment and self-healing through coloring. It is a statement to those who have been affected by sexual assault that they are not alone. I've deconstructed the story to include 23 single-sided images and quotes that you can color in, of varying degrees of detail. I've also included two color test pages for your convenience. Images include beautiful abstract designs of scenes, items, and characters from Little Red Riding Hood, and inspirational quotes that tell a more empowering story. Each page builds off of the one before it, to inspire you to come along on this journey. Finally, know that you are not only making a difference for yourself, but you are making a difference for those affected by this terrible crime.
