Erna's Story

True story of a woman's journey from being born to a well established German Mennonite family living in rural, agriculturally rich Ukraine; to becoming the enemy in her own country as a teenager; to living adult life as part of a farming family in North Dakota. The book is written by her eldest daughter, but in the mother's voice based on the oral telling of the story. The impact of significant losses and the importance of a resilient spirit are clearly evident. This woman's belief in God's protection and provision throughout the journey is revealed clearly as she shares her memories.
