Elise Harper, a professional photographer, has a sexual appetite that for some men brings satisfaction and fulfillment yet for others means disgrace and death. A rich, spoilt bitch, Elise is married off by her ambitious, domineering parents to an elderly man of wealth and potential title. She satisfies her husband by producing two sons for him. The story enters her photographic studio and its workings. She has an assistant, who becomes exceptionally resentful of the male models that Elise rewards sexually, resolutely excluding him from such attention and thwarting his desires. He uses her studio and equipment for pornographic sessions during her absences. Her unexpected return catches him red-handed and she fires him on the spot. Thus he commences an extreme plan to cause her as much humiliation and degradation as possible. A senior politician is inadvertently drawn into this mire, just as he is at the peak of his power and popularity. Elise finds a soul mate, who works for the same wine importers as her husband, initially creating complications for the relationship. Can she resolve the ensuing series of mistakes and misunderstandings? Beyond the camera, things are not quite the same as they appear to the naked eye.
