Critical Thinking Analysis on Ghana

FOREWORD It is an established fact that nature designs systems to propagate themselves in order to ensure continuity. It is based on this fact that we should be mindful of posterity and endeavour to bequeath generations to come valuable legacies. One of such valuable legacies which should be left behind is a collection of useful information. Accordingly, this book: ?Critical Thinking Analysis on Ghana?, a collection of numerous articles, is a useful legacy which the authors have decided to bequeath for the sake of posterity. I want to resist the temptation of revealing the contents of this book and challenge you instead to go ahead and read it with all the enthusiasm possible. Nonetheless, one important issue you need to know about in advance is that the authors advise that we all abhor selfishness in all human endeavours in order to ensure stable, sustained societies and nations. They also want us to have in mind that as a developing nation and a young democracy, there are plenty of frustrations and letdowns that may prevent Ghana from seeing that good does in fact exist when we try to think positively. The authors are of the opinion that many good things can be found in our midst as a nation if we think positively, concentrate on our economic development and stop paying back insults with insults and evil with evil. Many issues including social, political and economic issues are discussed in this book. Using Ghana as a case study, the authors have critically analysed how Ghana (and Africa by extension), can meet her millennium objectives within the shortest possible time. This book is not a textbook. However, it may prove very useful for students in higher academic institutions especially for general civic education. I am optimistic that after reading this book you will be of the opinion that it will render invaluable service to Ghanaians and our neighbours in other African countries. May the good Lord richly bless the authours (Bonna & Bonna) and grant them sound and open minds to continue to write similar valuable books. Enjoy the book.
