The Graffiti Chronicles
James Edward Strickland III
The Graffiti Chronicles is a fictional anthology that depicts a love story through the mind, eyes, and actions of an unknown graffiti artist. He loses love and quests to find and regain love-in both the physical and meta-physical sense. The book does not use the typical novel format that tells a story from the beginning to the middle and to the end. Instead, the book uses a format of a series of letters, notes, and inscriptions depicting poems, short sayings (some a bit mouthy) and short stories to tell a story in small pieces at a time-like the creating of a quilt-yet, in the end, the story is complete and whole. Additionally, in the end, the book encourages the reader to analyze and create a profile.
