Layah started as a survivor, born to an incarcerated mother, and her father no where around, she fought from the beginning. Growing up in San Francisco, California she was a product of the foster care system, bounced from home to home, she had to create a hard exterior. With a hustler?s mentality, and no room for games, scheming, blackmailing, and by just pure hunger, Layah has made a name for herself. As an owner and operator of Purple Silk a Gentleman?s club Layah is at the top. But along the way she?s made enemies. With her best friend dying from a drug overdose, she is now responsible for her Godson. When Afir comes into her life, she believes he is the one, and marriage may be in their future. But not everything is as it seems. Strange things start to happen, bodies begin falling from left to right, and from the looks of it Layah has blood on her hands. Will she change her ways, and leave the game for good? Or will her past come back to haunt her? Will she and Afir live happily ever after or will she share the same fate as her mother?
