This book is written with an Eastern flavor and is an interesting look at another culture that few Americans know anything about. Sri Lanka is a unique island with a culture that Is very different from out own. Nimala helps to give us a glimpse into another world. The first seven chapters are autobiographical and the last chapter is a collection of Nimala's views on various subjects mainly of a religious nature. This is her first attempt at writing.
