When Johanna wakes on a deserted island chain, bereft of all memory and surrounded by the bodies of people dressed just like her, she must piece together how they were brought to this desolate region. The Path of Pride is a stand-alone prequel to The Destroyer's Wrath saga, set five hundred years before the main storyline, and can be read as a self-contained novel.
