A profile of PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, the debut album by the hugely successful and influential rock band Pink Floyd. Considered to be a prime example of English psychedelia, the album featured an eclectic range of music, ranging from the avant-garde free-form piece of 'Interstellar Overdrive' to whimsical songs such as 'The Scarecrow'. The 1967 album also showcased the new technologies of stereo panning and electric keyboards.
