The Many Trails of Garrett Marshall

Publisher Marketing: A man may go down many trails in his lifetime. His reasons for traveling certain trails may at various times be planned or unplanned, seeking good fortune or running from danger. They may be traveled alone or with others. In "the Many Trails of Garrett Marshall" we travel with Garrett whose life story is told through the trails he takes. From his home place - a small farm in Ohio - he goes down the first trail to the horrors of the Civil War. After returning home to disappointment, he heads west, meets an old friend and makes new ones who share his life and adventures. His life on the Plains leads to his taking a trail to Arizona and a completely different life when he meets Santina, a young Apache girl. Life is not easy for the couple caught in the conflict between the Apache and the white man. Be a part of the beauty, harshness, action, love and adventures they share in the uncertain days of the late 1800s. The people Garrett encounters and the places in his travels come alive through the writing of a new, skillful writer, C. R. Wilson. After reading "the Many Trails of Garrett Marshall," you are sure to look for his previously published books and look forward to his next story about people living in the frontier days of this country, the 1700s and the late 1800's. Grace W. Sutton - Editor Contributor Bio:  Wilson, Cr About the Author I was born in a small house in the small town of Waltersburg, Pennsylvania, in 1941. My two older sisters and I were blessed to have a good family life. While we were not the most prosperous family, we were among the happiest ones. My first loves of life were westerns, early American stories and music. I spent most of my working years managing variety stores, mainly for the G. C. Murphy Co. and a few years with McCrory's Stores. After having tried a couple of other business ventures, I retired from the U. S. Postal Service. After retiring I rewrote a short story I had written in the 70's titled "Many Trails" and then finished another one started then, "the Days of Rains." This is my third book, "Moon on the River." I have written lyrics for a variety of songs in the Pop, Rock, Country and Gospel genres. I had one demo made and have more in the planning stage. I hope that my readers will get the same enjoyment from reading my stories as I have had reading the stories of others. I thank Kindle and CreateSpace for making the publishing of my books possible. Thanks to all who have read my books.
