Allan Campbell played by Cole Hauser was coming to an end of a bad day and drowns his sorrows at a local bar, he befriends a mysterious man, Jonas, played by Cuba Gooding Jr, revealing to him a HIT LIST of five people he wishes were dead. Later, as these people end up dead Allan realises this is no longer a practical joke and must set out to prevent any further murders before it's too late.
