This commemorative collection includes two classic John Wayne westerns; HELLTOWN (1937) in which a wandering cowboy (Wayne) stops the rustlers who are stealing Johnny Mack Brown's cattle, so Brown doesn't mind when Wayne wins his girl. And MCLINTOCK (1963) in which the screen legend shows off his funny side in a comedy-western inspired by THE TAMING OF THE SHREW. After his wife (Maureen O'Hara) and daughter leave him for the East, wealthy cattle baron G. W. McLintock (Wayne) attempts to win them back.


The set also includes two biographical documentaries; THE AMERICAN WEST OF JOHN FORD and JOHN WAYNE: BIGGER THAN LIFE.
